Parent and player FAQ
01
Are there games?
This winter league is all about having fun, burning off energy, and learning the ins-and-outs of the sport of lacrosse. We host this league to prepare kids for the spring season when they will be playing other teams and to build on their ball handling skills. Parents are encouraged to hang out and watch, and are also welcome to take an hour to themselves.
03
How does an indoor lacrosse league work?
Players will be paired into groups based on gender and age-appropriate categories, allowing them to learn together. We will focus on running drills, practicing ball handling skills, developing our on-field communication, and spend the final 20 minutes of practice scrimmaging against one another. We're here to have fun and build a passion for lacrosse in our youth!
02
What is included in the cost?
This indoor league is 10-weeks long and focuses on the some of the most challenging elements of lacrosse: cradling, passing, hand-eye coordination, and shooting. In the past we have joyfully hosted clinics by the infamous DU Lacrosse team and True Lacrosse. These are available at no additional cost to you.
04
What are the dates and times for the season?
1-Hour long weekly practice will be held on Tuesday nights. Boys league will practice at 4:30. Girls league will practice at 5:30pm. Practices will be held on:
November 4, November 11, November 18, December 2, December 9, December 16, January 6, January 13, January 20, January 27, February 3 and February 10.
